Before founding Davidson Veterinary, Mattea gained invaluable experience working in mixed animal and equine practices. Her love for equine dentistry led her to further her studies, and she is proud to be a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists – Equine Dentistry Chapter.

Together with her husband Shane, they run a performance horse stud, Davidson Equestrian,

and are deeply involved in all aspects of equine reproduction and breeding.

As a professional rider and coach, Mattea has competed at 4* level eventing and World Cup level showjumping,

so she understands just how important your horses are to you.
