Comprehensive Care and Monitoring

Foaling Alarm: Each mare is equipped with a 'Sigloo' foaling alarm, alerting us immediately when foaling begins. This allows for prompt and attentive care throughout the entire process.
Purpose-Built Facilities: Your mare will be housed in secure, purpose-built yards with safe fencing, located near our residence for constant supervision as the due date approaches.
Pre-Foaling Checks: As foaling nears, we monitor key indicators such as:
- pH levels of milk
- Udder size
- Relaxation of pelvic ligaments
- Vulval tone changes

Post-Foaling Care

Health Check: After birth, we perform a thorough health check for both mare and foal, making sure the foal is nursing properly, verifying IgG levels, checking for meconium passage, and monitoring hydration.
Ongoing Monitoring: We continue regular checks to allowing for a smooth transition for both mare and foal.
